20 May 2011: Ron Cohen completes his 7th London Marathon and then receives a Comet Country Lifetime Achievement Award
Ron Cohen, Stevenage Haven's Finance Officer and Company Secretary and 78 years young!, completed his 7th London Marathon this year on Sunday 17th April 2011 in 05:56:21 raising over £1,200 for charity.  Ron  was raising money for Stevenage Haven and for the Ron Pickering Memorial Fund with all monies being split equally between the two charities.  To see Ron's pictures from the marathon click here and to see his detailed run statistics click here.

At the recent Comet Country Awards Evening Ron was presented with the Lifetime Achievement award in recognition of his fundraising efforts for homeless charity Stevenage Haven. Ron said: “I’m just amazed that I’ve won. I took up running in 1975 and did my first London Marathon in 1982.
