13 Jun 2005 - A Grant from Stevenage Community Trust
At a presentation at the Novotel Stevenage we received a cheque from Stevenage Community Trust for £300 for an Emergency Clothes Store. Occasionally when a new client arrives at Chris Foster House the only possessions they have are the clothes they stand up in. The Emergency Clothes Store will provide a change of clothes in such cases which will allow the client's clothes to be washed. Staff time will also be saved in having ready access to a change of clothes rather than having to beg or borrow suitable clothing. We are grateful for the generosity of Stevenage Community Trust.
