14 Mar 2006 - Work on Drive Extension starts
Resident volunteers completed the initial phase of a drive extension at Chris Foster House in record time (less than a day) and despite it starting to snow during the excavations. The finished gravel area can be seen here. Fencing is due to be installed in a few weeks time which will allow for up to 2 additional cars in the driveway and for more staff to avoid the risk of a parking ticket if they forget to move their cars within the 2 hour parking limit allowed in the road opposite the hostel.
