18 May 2008 - Edinburgh Marathon - Two Teams running for Stevenage Haven in the 'Hairy Haggis' Relay
Stevenage Haven has two teams entered in the 2008 Edinburgh Marathon Chevrolet Hairy Haggis team relay. Teams have 4 runners who will each run between 5 to 8 miles as a relay team. Our youngest runner is 25 and the oldest is aged 75! See the website for more details http://www.edinburgh-marathon.com .
The 2008 Edinburgh Marathon which takes place on Sunday 25th May 2008 is billed as 26.2 miles of inspiration – a beautiful coastline, a royal palace, an extinct volcano, a grandstand finish. The organisers are expecting over 14,000 people to be running in the marathon and team event. They are hoping to have over 1,000 teams entered in the 2008 Chevrolet Hairy Haggis Team Relay. The event starts near Edinburgh Castle, descends to the river and finishes at Musselburgh Racecourse.
