We are looking for swimmers of all abilities and ages to take part in a sponsored swim to raise funds for Stevenage Haven on Sunday 11th October swimming up to 20 lengths any time between 2pm and 4.30pm. 

The Stevenage and District Annual Sponsored Swim is organised  by a group of volunteers and a number of charities take part.  50% of the sponsorship monies raised are pooled and split equally between the participating charities and 50% of  the money raised by each charities' sponsors go directly to their charity.  In 2008 a total of 20 charities took part and Stevenage Haven received £148 from the event.  In 2009  we want to dramatically increase this figure.

Odyssey Knebworth has an excellent  25 metre modern swimming pool and you can elect to swim any number of lengths up to 20 lengths maximum.  The event starts at 2pm on Sunday 11th October and finishes at 4.30pm.  Swimmers can choose when to arrive between 2 and 4pm and during this period to complete their swim.
